Dolph Andrus moved to Bluff, a small, rural town in the southeast corner of Utah, in 1915 and spent three years there with his family. Despite the brevity of this period, Andrus had a lot going on. He was the school principal, postmaster, and a car salesman. In addition to those duties, he found time to go on his expeditions into the nearby Monument Valley.
